The core of the MunaTo Festival is packed into three incredible days, all centered at the Sarangani Capitol Grounds, Alabel, Sarangani Province.
Friday, November 28: Unity, Youth, and the Grand Opening
The main festival day kicks off by honoring Sarangani’s foundations. The morning is dedicated to faith and community unity with the Panagatagbo sa Munato Civic Parade and Panagtagbo sa Pagtuo Interfaith Rally. As the day progresses, the focus shifts to the future with the Sarangani Youth Roots and Rhythm showcase, followed by a fascinating glimpse into the past with the IP Traditional Games and Moros Activities. The evening marks the official start of the Founding Anniversary with the spectacular Thematic Dance Competition. Get ready for the first of two massive spectacles as a Grand Fireworks Display illuminates the night sky, followed by an electrifying performance from one of the country’s biggest performers, GIGI DE LANA and her band, to close the opening night!

Saturday, November 29: Heritage, Adrenaline, and Glamour
Saturday is all about immersion and recognition. Start your day with high-octane action at the 4th Governor’s Invitational Motocross Competition at the Avia Estate. Back at the Capitol Grounds, this is your chance for a cultural deep dive: Visit the Sarangani Pavilion to explore the unique exhibits of the different tribes, including the Sarangani Moros, Blaan, and T’boli. As the sun sets, the focus shifts to elegance and advocacy with the Pearl of Sarangani 2025, the Grand Coronation Night that celebrates the finest young women in the province.

Sunday, November 30: Street Dancing and the Grand Finale
The festival concludes with high-energy movement and a spectacular send-off. The afternoon features the Sayaw-Sayaw sa Kadalanan, the vibrant MunaTo Street Dancing Grand Parade that fills the streets with color and festive rhythms—a perfect photo opportunity! After the formal Closing Ceremony, the night culminates in the final, breathtaking Grand Fireworks Display of the festival. The 33rd Founding Anniversary comes to a close with a massive concert featuring the popular indie rock band LOLA AMOUR, ensuring the MunaTo Festival ends with a bang!
