Koronadal City — The road to MindaCon 2025 is officially underway. Last week’s press conference at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center set the stage for what promises to be the biggest and most meaningful installment yet of the Mindanao ICT Conference.
Now on its 10th year, MindaCon isn’t just growing—it’s evolving. For the first time ever, the city of Koronadal will host the prestigious event, uniting digital leaders, government stakeholders, and tech advocates under the theme:
“Innovating Mindanao’s Workforce for a Sustainable Industry 5.0.”
In his opening remarks, Clint Junsay, Host City Organizing Committee Lead and Co-Chair of the South Cotabato ICT Council, captured the event’s spirit:
“MindaCon is more than just a conference—it’s a movement.”
A movement, he emphasized, that is deeply rooted in cultural identity, driven by innovation, and powered by collaboration.

Leaders Rally Behind MindaCon’s Vision
The press conference highlighted broad institutional support from both local leaders and other stakeholders:

- Giselle Eve G. Ortega-Siladan, DOST Region XII Provincial Director, underscored a tech-driven future that includes everyone. “Science and technology must empower—not isolate,” she affirmed.
