In a milestone event for the digital content creation community, Sox Bloggers Society and Iloilo Bloggers Inc. officially launched their alliance on the evening of March 22, 2025, at Ponsyon Restaurant, Plazuela de Iloilo, Iloilo City.
This partnership aims to foster collaboration, strengthen networks, and promote regional tourism and digital media initiatives between SOCCSKSARGEN and Iloilo.

The event gathered esteemed content creators from both organizations, marking the beginning of a dynamic partnership.
Sox Bloggers Society President Ariel Lalisan and Iloilo Bloggers Inc. President Jorry Palada led the formalization of the alliance, highlighting their shared vision of utilizing digital platforms to create a positive impact in their respective regions.
Lalisan reflected on the organization’s journey since its inception in 2008 and emphasized the importance of adapting to the evolving digital landscape. “This alliance strengthens our community of creators, enabling us to learn from each other, expand our reach, and create meaningful collaborations,” he said.
The alliance agreement includes joint projects, cross-promotions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that will benefit members from both organizations. Future plans include co-hosting blogging summits, organizing tourism campaigns, and conducting workshops for content creators to enhance their skills.
Avelmar Manansala, co-founder of Sox Bloggers Society, who initiated the linkage between the two communities, was there to show his support.
The launching event was also attended by prominent bloggers and digital creators from both regions, who expressed their excitement for the opportunities this partnership will bring. The evening was filled with engaging discussions, networking, and a sumptuous feast featuring Iloilo’s best culinary offerings.
