On December 29, 2024, the Sox Bloggers Society gathered at the elegant Red Fern Pavilions in General Santos City for a momentous occasion: the relaunch of the organization and the election of its new officers. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the premiere blogging and digital content creator community in the SOCCSKSARGEN region, as it reaffirmed its commitment to fostering creativity, connection, and collaboration.
The highlight of the event was the election of the new officers, who will lead the organization into the future:

- Vice President for Internal Affairs: Rofil Mae M. Rillo
- Vice President for External Affairs: Michael Andrew R. Carbon
- Secretary: Francis Kenneth D. Ang
- Treasurer: Daryl L. Rosales
- Auditor: Marcelino F. Bendol
These individuals bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and dedication to their roles, ensuring that Sox Bloggers continues to thrive as a hub for digital creators in the region.
Revisiting Our Roots
The event also included a review of the organization’s Constitution and By-Laws, with a particular focus on refining membership guidelines to reflect the evolving landscape of digital media. This step underscores the society’s commitment to remaining relevant and inclusive, while maintaining the values and vision established by its founders.
A Show of Support from Pioneers and Members
The relaunch wouldn’t have been complete without the presence of some of the society’s original and most influential members. Avelmar O. Manansala, one of the co-founders of Sox Bloggers, expressed his heartfelt support for the organization’s continued journey. His words of encouragement served as a reminder of the society’s roots and the noble goals that inspired its formation 16 years ago.
Also in attendance were original member Rain R. Ramas, long-time supporter Orman O. Manansala, and international member Ricky Bustos, whose presence added a global perspective to the relaunch.

With the relaunch, Sox Bloggers not only reaffirms its legacy but also embraces a fresh identity, guided by its new tagline, “All That Buzz.” This phrase captures the organization’s mission to create impactful content, spark meaningful conversations, and amplify the voices of SOCCSKSARGEN and Mindanao in the digital space.
As the organization moves forward, it remains committed to supporting its members, forging meaningful partnerships, and creating a positive impact in the online world.
